The Turks and Caicos Islands recently ranked third-best for family vacations out of 63 destinations in the world.
This was revealed in an analysis conducted by travel insurance site ‘InsureMyTrip’ which ranked global cities from most to least suitable as potential destinations for family vacations.
According to the study shared with TC Weekly News, InsureMyTrip extrapolated relevant travel data for key family vacation categories including quality of family hotels, quality of nearby beaches, quality of family attractions, sea temperature, wave height, the strength of ocean currents and overall area safety.
InsureMyTrip isolated each data point in addition to giving an overall category score.
This was done to give families an opportunity to target destinations for individual points (e.g. quantity of family attractions, ocean current strength or area safety).
Sarah Webber, Director of Marketing at InsureMyTrip, commenting on the study said: “As Covid-19 restrictions begin to relax and more families decide to vacation again, it is especially important they feel safe.
InsureMyTrip hopes the results of this study will help these families feel confident and secure in their decision to travel the world and make new and lasting memories.”
