Best Foot Forward, an organization dedicated to improving the educational outcomes of foster children, recently named Van Williams and Dan Davidowitz to its board. Williams is the provost and dean of students at Palm Beach State College’s Boca Raton campus, and Davidowitz is a portfolio manager and research analyst at Polen Capital.
The YMCA of the Palm Beaches recently announced W. Colin Walker as its newest board member. Walker joins a team of well-respected and highly involved community leaders committed to promoting youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Carlton Fields recently announced that litigator Kyle B. Soch has joined the firm’s national Mass Tort and Product Liability Practice as an associate in the West Palm Beach office. Soch was a judicial intern to Judge Dave Lee Brannon of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Marty, a member of the Florida Bar, graduated in 2003 from Nova Southeastern University Law School. Heather James Fine Art in Palm Beach is now offering a fine art consultancy led by Breck Kling. Splitting his time between Palm Beach and Jackson Hole, Wyo., Breck is a longtime board member of the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, N.Y., and was a collector adviser to he first Volta art fair in Basel, Switzerland, in 2005. A co-founder of the national art nonprofit Everyartist.me, he is also a co-founder and a trustee of Silicon Couloir, a network for entrepreneurs based in Jackson Hole.
