    Assam lifts all Covid-19-related curbs amid Covid-19 let up

    Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday said that his government has decided to withdraw all compulsory Covid-19 testing facilities at airports, railway stations and hospitals from February 15. 

    Also, all restrictions including the ongoing night curfew, other Covid-19 curbs including a ban on social-religious gatherings will stand withdrawn, the chief minister tweeted. 

    A detailed order regarding the same will be realeased on February 14, Sarma said.

Arjun Singh’s brother-in-law Sunil Singh, a former legislator of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) returned to the party on Sunday afternoon along with his son Aditya. The MP’s nephew, Saurav Singh, the former chairman of Bhatpara municipality in North 24 Parganas, also returned to the TMC.

Delhi woman gang-raped, tied and thrown from a building in Rajasthan’s Churu, 2 held

The incident happened on Friday near the railway station in Churu. The woman had arrived from New Delhi on Friday after one of the four accused offered her a job. The accused got in touch with her through social media and over telephone.
