Alienware (A Dell company) announced the release window for the AW3423DW QD-OLED gaming monitor it’s been bragging about since CES last month. It features a 34-inch curved 175Hz Quantum Dot OLED screen from Samsung, meaning it is going to look pretty good sitting on your desk and most video card-powered systems should be able to handle it just fine thanks to its 3440 x 1440 resolution.
It comes at a price though, as it will run you $1,299, which doesn’t quite fit into the budget of the average gamer. However, if you can afford one, you’ll have your chance to get your hands on it this spring when it initially starts rolling out.
The screen will come with a number of sweet specs to brag about, including deep blacks, better contrast, and improved brightness levels over previous OLED displays (thanks Samsung) and will be one of the first gaming screens to hit the market with a Samsung’s QD-OLED screen.
Exact dates within the Spring are not available yet and no pre-order is available just yet either, although you might see something pop up within the next month or so as Alienware eventually adds the new model to its website.
We’re excited to announce that the Alienware 34 QD-OLED Gaming Display will arrive early this Spring for $1,299 USD.
In addition, the Alienware Tri-Mode Wireless Gaming Headset (AW920H) is also set to arrive early Spring for $199 USD. pic.twitter.com/C4QoIGfjea
